Occupational Health and Safety, Environment (OHSE) Policy

Tyhoo strives to create a sustainable future by environmental protection, caring for the health and safety of its employees and interested parties to all workplaces across the organisation, including accident prevention and health promotion in accordance with its legislative obligations and best industry practise. Planning of pollution control and health and safety measures begins as soon as we decide to establish a new plant. In order to further improve environmental quality, maintain a healthy and safe working environment, and thus ensure our sustainable development, we have established an environmental/occupational health and safety management system, which are responsible for the functioning of our environmental/occupational health and safety management systems. To achieve these commitments and ensure continual improvement of OHSE performance, an occupational health and safety system, as described in the TYHOO OHSE Manual, has been implemented. The OHSE Manual provides a comprehensive range of strategies and programs, including establishing measureable objectives and targets, available to employees to support their health, safety and wellbeing and the return to work of ill or injured staff, including ensuring training and instruction is provided to employees equal with their roles and responsibilities to enable them to comply with this policy.

Managing Director will ensure that OHSEesponsibilities are appropriately defined and that workplace managers and supervisors receive the training and resources they need to carry out their OHSe responsibilities competently. Management acknowledge that they have a primary responsibility for the health and safety of those who work under their direction and have a duty to provide and maintain a working environment and conditions that are safe and without risks to health.

TYHOO expects employees, subcontractors and visitors to comply with its occupational health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines, and to conduct themselves in a safe manner. Contractors working on TYHOO premises are also required to conduct their activities in a manner that ensures the safety, health and welfare of others.
All employees will:
Comply with their obligations under the OHSE Act
Take reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of themselves, and others under their supervision at work, including visitors
Follow dispute and issue resolution procedures in relevant agreements and awards
Use all provided personal protective clothing and equipment (PPE) in accordance with directions, and report when any PPE requires repair, replacement or where risk assessment indicates the need for PPE to be provided by the employer
Cooperate with TYHOO as far as necessary to enable compliance with any requirement under the OHSE Act, including with any reasonable instruction or direction given by a principal or workplace manager
Contribute to TYHOO meeting its OHSE objectives and targets by complying with OHSE procedures as well as making suggestions as to how these procedures can be continuously improved
Assist TYHOO with its OHSE obligations by reporting and recording all incidents (including incidents of violence or bullying) and hazards that may cause injury or illness (including damage to facilities or plant requiring maintenance)
Participate in training arranged to support the implementation of this policy
