The internal field joint coating robot is designed to provide a coherent internal anticorrosion coating protection for pipelines by applying coating material onto the internal field joint area after welding for all types of onshore, offshore and spoolbase oil pipelines, gas pipelines and water pipelines.

The use of internal field joint coating helps increasing pipeline service life and flow efficiency, reducing internal corrosion and pipe wall thickness requirement, providing coherent pipe internal protection and diminishing or eliminating pipeline leaks.

The internal field joint coating robots are wirelessly controlled with hand-held video monitoring and operation system, through which operator issues instructions to control moving, location, blasting cleaning, coating application, inspection and emergency rescue when necessary. All application and inspection actions and data will be recorded by the recording system.
